When should newborn photos be taken?
Most families come in during the first two weeks, while babies are still sleepy and curled up the way they were inside you. If you're past that window, don't worry — every stage still has a story worth telling.
How far in advance should I book?
Sessions fill up quickly, especially around the holidays and popular milestone months like spring and fall. Reaching out a few weeks ahead helps make sure we find the right day for your family.
What areas in Central New Jersey do you serve?
I work with families and professionals throughout Central New Jersey, including Lakewood, Toms River, Jackson, Howell, Brick Township, Freehold, Manalapan, and surrounding communities across Monmouth County and Ocean County. I also regularly photograph clients traveling from areas like Deal, Long Branch, Point Pleasant, Atlantic City, Cherry Hill, Elizabeth, Teaneck, and other parts of New Jersey for newborn photography, family portraits, and professional headshots.
Do you photograph multiple generations together?
Absolutely — this is often where the most meaningful moments happen. Multigenerational sessions are at the heart of what I do.
What should we wear for family photos?
Soft neutrals, earthy tones, and timeless textures tend to photograph beautifully while keeping the focus on connection and emotion rather than distracting patterns or logos. I’ll guide you through wardrobe planning so everything feels natural, cohesive, and effortless.
Do you offer both studio and outdoor sessions?
Yes. Newborn sessions happen in my lifestyle studio or in the comfort of your own home. Family sessions are available indoors or outdoors — wherever feels most like you.
I hate being in photos. Can you still help me?
Yes — more than almost anyone else. This work exists for people who feel exactly that way. You won't be asked to pose or perform. I guide gently, and most of what ends up in your gallery isn't planned at all. It's just you, being you.
What if my kids won't sit still?
Good — that's kind of the point. I'm not chasing a still, silent portrait. I'm capturing your family as you actually are, wiggles and all.
